Smart Entryway: Video Doorbell, Smart Lock and Wireless Chime

Everything comes in through the front door: guests, packages and, sometimes, people who shouldn't. With a video doorbell you see and talk to whoever rings even when you're away; with a smart lock you stop depending on keys; and with a wireless doorbell you hear the door from any room. Here's how to choose.
Video doorbell: see and talk to whoever rings
They mount at the entrance and alert you on your phone when someone rings or approaches, with video and two-way audio. Both models include a wireless chime so you can hear the doorbell inside.
- LC-1320: 1080p video with a 160° viewing angle, rechargeable battery, motion sensor and night vision. Records to a microSD card of up to 64 GB or to the cloud.
- LC-1457: 720p video with a 110° view, infrared night vision, noise cancellation, 32 melodies, and a rechargeable battery or 5 V wired power. Records to a microSD card of up to 128 GB or to the cloud.
Smart lock: unlock without keys
Forget hiding keys or making copies: unlock with your fingerprint, a code or a card, and give temporary codes to guests or household help. All of them keep a physical key as a backup and lock automatically.
- LC-1300: mortise lock with a reversible lever handle. Stores up to 300 fingerprints, 300 codes and 300 cards, and also unlocks from the app.
- LC-1449: deadbolt with video doorbell: see who's at the door and let them in from your phone. Unlocks with fingerprint, code, card, key or app, is reversible and locks itself after a time you choose.
- LC-1448: video doorbell with screen and smart lock: besides fingerprint, code, card and key, it recognizes your face or your palm.
Before buying a lock, check the door thickness it supports on the product page and whether your door opens to the left or to the right.
Wireless doorbell: no wires and alerts on your phone
If you just want to know when someone rings, a wireless doorbell installs in minutes and alerts you in the app even when you're away.
- LC-1333: 58 melodies, range of up to 80 m and a battery-powered button.
- LT-745: its button needs no batteries (it's powered by the energy of the press), with a range of up to 180 m, 52 melodies and volume up to 110 dB.
- LC-1456: doorbell and alarm in one, with 58 melodies and a range of up to 80 m.
