Smart Lighting: Bulbs and LED Strips to Change the Mood

With a smart bulb or LED strip you can switch from white light for working to warm light for relaxing, or fill the living room with color for a get-together, without changing anything in your wiring. Just plug them in, add them to the Advanced Home app and you're set.

What you can do with them

  • Choose the color and, on the bulbs, the shade of white, from warm to cool.
  • Adjust the brightness from the app.
  • Set schedules: have the light turn on at nightfall or turn itself off.
  • Create scenes and group several lights to control them together.
  • Music mode: the light changes to the rhythm of what's playing.
  • Voice control with Alexa and Google Home.

They connect directly to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.

Bulbs: which goes where

  • LC-1428, A19 bulb, 9 W and 800 lumens, E26 base: the size of a regular bulb, for bedroom or living room lamps and ceiling fixtures.
  • LC-1429, A21 bulb, 15 W and 1600 lumens, E26 base: twice the light, for large spaces like the living room, kitchen or dining room.
  • LC-1430, GU10 bulb, 5 W and 400 lumens: for track lights and recessed fixtures with a GU10 base.
  • LC-1431, G30 vintage bulb, 6 W and 400 lumens: decorative, with a clear finish, for pendant lamps or wherever the bulb is visible.

The LC-1428, LC-1429 and LC-1430 bulbs adjust white light between 2700 K (warm) and 6500 K (cool).

LED strips: indirect light and decoration

  • LC-1432, 2 m strip: for the edge of a desk, behind the TV or under a cabinet.
  • LC-1433, 5 m strip: to light a whole room, ceilings or shelves.
  • LC-1434, 3 m neon strip: with dynamic effects that show several colors at once. Includes a remote control.

The strips can be cut to size at the marked points (every 20 cm on the LC-1432 and LC-1433). Check the manual before cutting.

Ideas to get started

  • Bedroom: schedule the light to dim and turn warm before bedtime.
  • Living room: create a "movie" scene with the strip behind the TV and the bulbs at their lowest.
  • Party: turn on music mode for every light in the group.
  • Entrance: have the bulb turn on at the time you usually get home.
